San Diego Drafting & Design is a residential-focused design studio specializing in custom homes, ADUs, remodels, and thoughtfully crafted living environments. The studio operates at the intersection of architecture, construction, and experiential design—bringing ideas from concept to build with clarity and precision. We partner with licensed Structural Engineers to assure the safety and integrity of everything we design & build.
Who we are
The studio is led by an Architectural Design Specialist with over 20 years of experience in drafting and design. The studio maintains a high level of proficiency in digital drafting, construction documentation, 3D modeling, and photorealistic visualization, along with having professional experience in residential design, design-build environments, and construction.
With a foundation rooted in both design and hands-on building, the work is informed by a deep understanding of how projects are not only envisioned—but executed. This includes experience across all phases of project development, from early concept design through construction documentation and coordination.
We have created a service that is focused on leadership, communication, and the ability to guide complex ideas into clear, buildable solutions.
The studio brings a strong emphasis on workflow efficiency, client relationships, and collaborative project delivery—often working closely with contractors, engineers, and consultants to ensure alignment from design through construction.
